Out of State Colleges

Students fear looking at colleges and universities out-of-state because it will cost far too much.  Well, there is good news and bad news about looking out of state.

• Bad News
  • Yes you will have to pay a higher tuition while going out of state
• Good News
  • Michigan is a participating member of the Midwest Higher Education Compact (MHEC) with the Midwest Student Exchange Program, so you are eligible for a tuition break simply for being a resident of Michigan
